The clubs of Hattrick are having administrative problems this week, it seems - no salaries are being paid out to players, despite a previous HT announcement that this would be the case.

The problem lies in the back-office systems that all Clubs share, the ones administrered at HT headquarters. We are sorry about this, and have decided that we will leave things as they are - you can keep the money. To run a delayed update would be difficult, and almost impossible to do in fair manner. However, the wage-free week WILL be gone to next season.

The wage-free week was being removed as there was a need to cool down the Hattrick economy. This not being done, we will instead lower the sponsor money (-3%) earlier than we had planned. This reduction will be in effect from the next weekly update.

OK, so a decision has been made: The salary update will not be done at all this weekend.

For a few reasons. One, it could never be done exactly as it would have been run at the time it was supposed to be calculated. Different leagues would have different degrees of "non-perfection".

Also, it´s a rather time-consuming and complex process, which could trigger further consequences - and I don´t think anyone wants to experience that.

The main concern for us was that the wage-free week was being removed for a reason, namely to cool down the economy a bit. We will still remove it for next season, but until then we will implement the small sponsor money reduction that we have already said is pending. So, 3 % lower sponsor income starting next week.

As always, there will always be winners and loser when these things happen, but all in all, this seemed the most balanced solution to the problem.


praticamente, è troppo complicato far girare ora l'aggiornamento economico per cui lasciano perdere e per questa settimana non si pagano li stipendi. In compenso, gli sponsor daranno il 3% in meno...
